How to Create the Perfect Boho Look

Your clothing is the ultimate way for you to represent your personal style. With so many different types of clothing options out there though, it can sometimes be hard to determine which style you identify the most with. Although you don't have to land on just one style, it can make it easier to build a wardrobe. One style that resonates with some people is the boho look. Boho or bohemian is a laid-back style that has a sort of hippie vibe. To create the perfect boho look, this article will list a few different things for you to invest in.

1. Vintage T-Shirts

One of the staples of any bohemian workout is vintage t-shirts. Whether you go to a vintage clothing store or you go to a store that sells t-shirts that look vintage, you are bound to find some t-shirts that show off your style. Typically vintage t-shirts have bands on them from the '60s and '70s like The Who, The Rolling Stones, or Jimi Hendrix. Try choosing vintage T-shirts with bands that you love an adore; that way it's more authentic.

2. Kimonos

If you are looking for something fun to wear on top of your vintage t-shirts, then the perfect things to wear is something like a kimono. Although traditional kimonos tend to look more like a bathrobe, a lot of clothing companies make kimono's that look a little bit more like a sweater. The fun thing about kimonos is that they fit virtually every body type whether you're curvy or really thin. And, you can get one in a fun pattern that matches your vintage t-shirt for a fun look.

3. Long Maxi Dresses

If you don't feel like wearing a t-shirt, then you may want to go with something like a long maxi dress. When choosing a maxi dress, look for one that has a bohemian pattern on it or that is loose-fitting. Remember that bohemian is all about wearing loose-fitting clothing that's long and drapey. If you find a maxi dress that's sleeveless but you want to wear it during colder temperatures, then you can always put a kimono over the top of it as a layer.

These are just three clothing items that you can get to help you create the ultimate bohemian wardrobe. To learn more about creating a boho look, reach out to a few local vintage clothing boutiques near you.
